Today was a truly special day as we held our first ever Children’s Valentine’s Party to raise funds and awareness for Children’s Hospice South West - a charity providing life-changing care and support to families across the South West of England who are living with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, both in their hospices and in families’ own homes.
The party was a great success, with many people attending from the local area. The afternoon was full of fun and excitement, with a range of activities for children to enjoy. We had everything from cookie decorating and live music, to face painting, book sales, and ice cream. The atmosphere was filled with joy, laughter and love!
The children had a wonderful time, and it was great to see them all playing together and having so much fun. At the end of the event, we had raised an incredible £580 for Children’s Hospice South West.
We would like to thank all of the volunteers and attendees for making this event such a success. Your generosity and support is greatly appreciated. And of course, a huge thank you to Children’s Hospice South West for everything they do.
We are already looking forward to next year’s Valentine’s Party, and we hope to see you all there!
